Childbirth (Delivery) Ward
Location: it is located on the third floor of the hospital’s main building, adjacent to the gynecology and neonatal wards.
Number of active beds: 5
This ward is equipped with an LDR system in which, while maintaining the mother’s privacy, the presence of a companion at the mother’s bedside is possible.
- Services of this ward:
- • Preliminary examination of all delivery and non-delivery clients and diagnosis of cases leading to delivery, and midwifery emergencies as well as hospitalization indications
- • Providing prenatal care
- • Performing NST, interpreting it, and informing the treating physician
- • Holding childbirth preparation classes for mothers
- • Preparing the mother for a normal delivery
- • Performing a normal delivery with painless delivery and its aftercare
- • Preparing mothers not having the conditions for a normal delivery to have a cesarean section
- • Examining and preparing clients with the diagnosis of incomplete or forgotten abortion, etc. for transferring them to the operating room .
- • Termination of pregnancy in IUFD cases by gynecologists
- • Monitoring high-risk pregnant mothers and taking the necessary cares based on the physician’s instructions
